This home-based early childhood parent education and family support program is designed to help parents give their children the best possible start in life. The program serves children ages prenatal/birth through kindergarten entry. Parent Educators (through weekly/monthly home visits) provide parents with:
- information on child development
- encouragement and ideas for parent-child activities that enhance language development and intellectual growth.
- activity ideas to help a child’s social development and motor skills.
Parents as Teachers also partners with the Dorothy Bramlage Public Library and other community partners. Hours are scheduled by appointment with evening visits available.
