The Library Media Services (LMS) and Institutional Resources Center (IRC) Division’s mission is to encourage lifelong learning and meet the information needs of USD 475 students, teachers and staff by providing them with the resources they need to be successful. Our department is responsible for instructional and curriculum materials, textbooks, processing library books for schools, and managing the district assets and resources in order to optimize student and staff learning.  We are open 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please come and visit us.

Library Media Secretary

The Library Media Secretary is responsible for placing book orders and processing them through distribution for all USD 475 libraries; manages the LMS budgets and textbook inventory; performs duties regarding collection, processing, circulation, and maintenance for library materials including textbooks and electronic equipment; helps process materials with the IRC.

The Administrative Secretary for the Instructional Resource Center processes in and out all IRC and ELL materials; prepares orders for processing; assists as directed in all large department projects and recurring duties as directed.

Assists the Library Media and Administrative Secretaries with the day operations and special projects. Assists in processing of IRC and ELL materials. Organizes and distributes incoming library media and publications.
