Morning care is available for students kindergarten through 5th grade in all USD 475 elementary schools (EXCEPT elementary schools located on Fort Riley and Milford Elementary) from 5:30 – 7:45 a.m. Monday – Friday. The after school program is Monday – Friday from 3:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

To participate in the online registration process you must have an account in Skyward Family Access, the district’s online student information system. Skyward Family Access is a secure website that will allow you to easily keep track of nearly everything your student does while at school. Among other things, this service allows you to view your student’s attendance, grades, schedule, food service balance, bus route information, assignments and emergency information.

You can start the enrollment process from your home or any device that has Internet access, including those available in areas like the public library. Parents/guardians may also enroll by visiting the Mary E. Devin Center Administration Office. If you are not able to complete the process online, please visit www.usd475.org or go to your student’s school and request a paper copy.

If you are looking to request a student’s cumulative record from when they were enrolled with Geary County Schools USD 475, please contact the previous school the student was enrolled. To find the appropriate contact information, locate your child’s school on our homepage.

If you are looking to request a students’ special education records from when they were enrolled with Geary County Schools USD 475, please use this fillable PDF and forward to SPEDRecordsRequest@usd475.org. Please note we are a department that keeps digital copies of a student’s record once they have exited from our district. To help conserve paper, we prefer to email these scanned records to the request party.

Requesting Information (Kansas Open Records Act or KORA)

Geary County Schools USD 475 adheres to the Kansas Open Records Act and allows public records to be inspected upon request. In order to request information from Geary County Schools USD 475 contact the Executive Director of Communications (Freedom of Information Officer). Requests should be submitted in writing in the form of written letter or electronic mail. Some requests may incur a copy fee, however, when appropriate and available USD 475 will make attempts to make records available by digital means. Yes. USD 475 has a tobacco policy that includes tobacco products of any form and/or any “nicotine delivery device” which means any device that can be used to deliver nicotine to the person inhaling from the device. This definition shall include, but may not be limited to, any cigarette, cigar, cigarillo, pipe, or personal vaporizer. Tobacco products are forbidden on school property, at school-sponsored activities, programs, or events, and on school-owned or operated property at all times. The tobacco-free policy applies to everyone on school grounds whether they are a student, parent, staff, patron or guest. The tobacco-free policy is a part of the district’s Board of Education policy and in each school’s student handbook, parent handbook as well as the district staff handbook.

The best user experience for this and all USD 475 outward facing websites is through the use of the Google Chrome browser. Users utilizing the Internet Explorer browser may not be able to view these websites as designed. To fix this, users can uncheck “Display intranet sites in Compatibility View” in the Compatibility View settings.

The health services office at your student’s school needs the following when you enroll your student:

  • Health Information Form (completed each year)
  • Copy of any updated immunizations. 30 days to update immunizations if not currently up-to-date.
  • Students who are eight years old and under and enrolling in a Kansas school for the first time are required to turn in a physical exam within 90 days of enrollment.
