In The Spotlight... HIRED!

The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program provides 15-18 year old high school teenagers with meaningful, professionally-managed career-exploration opportunities in facilities on Fort Riley.

The HIRED! Apprenticeship Program offers valuable work experience and training to better equip each participant with the skills needed for a highly-competitive job market.

There are a lot of great benefits for HIRED! participants and the apprenticeship can be managed even during the school year! Besides that, apprentices will attend workforce preparation workshops such as: problem solving, interviewing skills, résumé writing, public speaking, effective communication, financial management, college/post-secondary exploration workshops, and more!
