MICROSOFT ACCESS® IN THE CLASSROOM
Goal:
To become familiar with the uses of databases in learning situations; and to learn the fundamentals of creating a database with Microsoft Access®.		     Objectives:
After completing this inservice, you should be able to:
     
  1. Find free online tutorials on the basics of Access for yourself / students
  2. Find free online Access templates
  3. Find Access lesson plans online
  4. Modify and use Access templates
  5. Create a database with tables, queries, forms, and reports
  6. Use sorts and filters
  7. Import text files and Excel files into an Access database
  8. Create a form letter / certificate by merging Word and Access files.
