What's NEW?...
Integrated Technology Institute
The USD 475 Integrated Technology Institute (ITI) offers professional development through a series of levels.  These levels provide technical skills in the area of Microsoft Office applications, technology integration in the classroom, and workshops for specialized professional development in a particular area.  Participants receive incentive packages at each level.

COMMENTS from class participants:

"...I learned a lot of new information and had fun doing it.  (It doesn’t get much better than that, does it?).  The best part is, I have created all kinds of new Excel documents that figure “class averages” and have made graphs to show results of tests etc.  Now aren’t you impressed?"

"...I learned a lot at the sessions and I really appreciate having the book to refer back to."

"These classes are great!   I have always considered myself technology literate and I still learned tips and new ways to doing things! Thanks for making it worth my time."

"I have appreciated so much tech support and instruction.  The low-threat level and little pressure to perform “miracles” has given me much motivation to learn more."

Tech Know Block

The TechKnow Block provides a myriad of learning opportunities in discovering effective use of technology tools.  Participants enrolled in this year-long block can work with the Instructional Technologists to design and configure individualized learning opportunities.  On-site ITI summarizes what these opportunities might entail.  PDC credit is available and a participant can accumulate up to 100 points.  Each participant must keep a log on the TechKnow Block Evaluation Form.
