The Geary County Health Department has issued a stay-at-home order for all communities within Geary County. The order will be in effect from midnight on March 27, 2020 and will remain in place for 30 days, until April 27, 2020, or until further notice. All citizens should remain at home and only leave for essential services, such as obtaining groceries or medical care. Essential personnel will be allowed to travel to and from work. All non-essential business are to remain closed during the duration of this order. Outdoor activities are still permitted, however citizens must maintain 6ft of distance between themselves and those not living in their household.
