Welcome to ETC - Expanding Technology In The Classroom

The ETC team is composed of educators with years of classroom experience.  We understand how important your time is and we are here to be a resource for you.  Our goal is to facilitate the integration of technology into your curriculum to engage your students, enrich the learning environment and make your job easier.

The ETC team researches new technologies in hardware, software and web based resources, then shares the most productive and user friendly tools through class sessions, professional development, on line tutorials and resource links on our web page so that you don’t have to spend your limited time searching for ways to enhance your curriculum.
 
If you’re interested in adding technology, but are not sure how to incorporate it into your classroom, the ETC team is happy to come and work directly with you.  We will help you develop an effective plan to integrate technology into your curriculum and work with you side by side to make sure the lesson is a complete success.

Resources and tools from the Grill the Gurus workshop. Presented Dec 7, 2012 for USD475 professional development. Looking to share your wisdom with your students with a dash of mystic technology but find the search for such enlightenment a web induced drag? Bring your ideas to our tech gurus who will search their cosmic resources for a web tool the audience seeks. You may even transcend to guru status yourself by sharing your favorite resource with the crowd. This is a fast paced interactive session with some time at the end for exploring your new found bag of tricks.
 
  
Resources and tools from the Technology Thunderdome workshop. Presented Dec 7, 2012 for USD475 professional development. Two tools enter.  One tool leaves.  Two techs share their favorite resources and round by round you decide which tool rules.  You will leave with winning tools to make you a tech champion! (No tech tools will actually be harmed during this presentation.)
