You can access your e-mail on a district computer through the Outlook program or online anywhere through Outlook Web Access (OWA).

Outlook Program on a District Computer
When you log onto the network, you can access your e-mail through Microsoft Office Outlook. This program is more robust than the online version (OWA) discussed below.

While using Outlook away from the network, you are not actually sending or receiving e-mail, but instead, are working from a “cached” Exchange-mode version. Once you log onto the network and open Outlook, your cached e-mails in your OUTBOX will be sent and other folders will be updated with the changes you have made while off the network.

You have access to the Instructional Technology training and tutorial options provided on the website: etc.usd475.org

Outlook Web Access (OWA) - online version
This is an online version of Outlook that can be used from anywhere you have Internet access.
·          Outlook Web Access (OWA) can be used while you are away from your school computer or away from the district network, for example, while traveling or checking your mail from your home computer.
·         The login information is the same whether you use Outlook or Outlook Web Access.
·         TFrom the district home page, click the Staff Webmail link OR go driectly to https://mail.usd475.org/owa

Can I add software?  No. The teacher computers are district-owned machines.  Therefore, to maintain network stability and maintain legal software licensing, software loads must be handled through the Technology Department.  To obtain permission for curriculum-related software to be loaded onto a notebook, you should:
1.        First, contact your school principal for permission.
2.     Second, enter the request into the district Technology Department’s ServiceDesk Plus
