The Child Nutrition Department strives to maintain healthy food choices within Geary County Schools and oversees the annual Summer Lunch Program. Working toward a common goal for wellness in the district this department provides healthy options for students, some of whom may not have access to healthy food options outside of their school day.

Geary County Schools USD 475 provides free and reduced priced meals for students who qualify. An application for free or reduced meals can be requested at the school your child attends or can be filled out online after July 14th. This application must be submitted each year to the school your child attends, and the information is kept confidential. During the school year, you can check the district’s daily breakfast and lunch menu here.
Elementary lunch: $2.55
Middle School lunch: $2.65
High School lunch: $2.70
Adult breakfast: $2.15

Nutrition Services Director
The Nutrition Services Director oversees the day-to-day operation of healthy food choices within Geary County Schools. This position assists in making sure schools in USD 475 remain in compliance with Smart Snack guidelines and the district wellness program. The Director assists in the preparation of the annual food service packet distribution for free and reduced lunches for qualifying district families.
