ID Card
Policy/Procedures
The purpose of the districts ID Card is to enhance security as well as move
toward and automated time/attendance system. All district employees will have in
their possession an ID card while on duty. No employee should be in possession
of more than one ID card.
NEW ID CARDS
Whenever the entire district receives ID cards a schedule will be developed
and pictures will be taken at the schools.
Those employees not present at picture time will need to notify payroll and
schedule a make-up time.
New employees will receive their ID card when they go through the orientation
at the administration center.
REPLACEMENT OF ID CARDS
Pictures do not need to be re-taken for replacement cards.
Replacement cards for lost or damaged badges will cost the employee $1.00.
Damaged cards will have to be turned in to payroll before a replacement card
will be issued.
Administrators will have to report to payroll the names of employees with
lost cards before they will be re-issued.
If a badge needs to be replaced for reasons other than lost or damaged the
original card needs to be turned in to the payroll dept. before a new card will
be issued.
COLLECTION OF ID CARDS
ID badges will to be collected by immediate supervisor when an employee
terminates employment.
ID badges will to be collected by immediate supervisor if a suspension of
duties would occur. The badge will be returned to the employee or into the
payroll department depending on the outcome of the situation.
