The team met via Zoom at 9:00. Due to the State Board of Education not approving the Governor’s order to delay the school start date to after Labor Day, school districts are able to select their own start date. Dr. Eggleston stated that our district would like to start the school year later than the previously approved calendar. This delay is needed due to getting safety measures in place as well as training for our staff. The team then looked at modifications to the calendar, both as a full team and then in caucuses. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 27, 1:30-4:30.
