JUNCTION CITY, KAN. – As part of the search for a new Superintendent, USD 475 has scheduled three meet and greet events which are open to the public. These events will take place over three nights, one night per candidate, beginning on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Members of the Geary County Schools workforce, local media, and the community at large are invited to attend each night and participate in the question and answer sessions.
The first candidate will be available at the Junction City Middle School, 700 Wildcat Lane, Junction City, Kansas 66441, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
The second candidate will be available at the Junction City Middle School, 700 Wildcat Lane, Junction City, Kansas 66441, on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
The third candidate will be available at the Junction City Middle School, 700 Wildcat Lane, Junction City, Kansas 66441, on Thursday, December 6, 2018, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Candidate names will be released the day before their respective meet and greet event.
In addition to these community events, each candidate will also tour three district schools during the day and interview with the Geary County Schools Board of Education on their respective evening. These interviews will take place during executive session beginning at 6:45 PM each night. Interviews will be held at the Mary Devin Center for Educational Support.
