The following schematic illustrations were presented to the Board of Education on April 16, 2018, at a public meeting. The purpose of the presentation to the Board was to inform and solicit feedback so SJCF, the architect, can make sure the Board of Education is accepting of the direction being taken in the design/layout of the proposed facilities. This information was also presented to Junction City High School staff on April 17, 2018.
Following these presentations, USD 475 will begin to organize a public viewing of the schematic drawings with intent is to allow the public to come and go as it pleases and the use of multiple stations will allow small group discussion wherein more questions can be addressed, etc. This public viewing will be held on April 28, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the Freshman Success Academy foyer (lobby). Multiple stations will be set up and the public will be invited to come and go as they please. Stations will be staffed with SJCF and USD 475 personnel who can facilitate small group presentation/discussions.
