Jeff Wells, an instructor for Junction City High School, has been with the Construction CTE Pathway since 2006. He has worked with countless students to build houses just like the one at 1771 W. 14th St. Place in Junction City, Kansas which recently sold after being on the market for approximately one week. The house first started to be marked and laid out in August of 2016. The concrete and walls were added in late September. Six students worked on the project in the Fall and six more students worked on the project in the Spring. Mr. Wells finished the house during the early part of the summer so that it could be put up for sale by USD 475.
The house was sold for asking price and proceeds will go toward the Construction CTE Pathway budget for future projects. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open concept. The house is a total of 1200+ square feet and has an attached two-car garage.
